LMIA
A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that an employer in Canada may need to get before hiring a foreign worker. In applying for LMIA, it should be proved that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill the job and no Canadian worker or permanent resident is available to do the job. A foreign worker should obtain an LMIA before applying for a work permit and the additional point for a valid job offer with LMIA is 50 points for NOC 0, A, and B while 200 points for NOC 00.

We assess our clients’ profile and advise them on their eligibility to get an LMIA. We also help Canadian employers to understand the proper process of the LMIA application, help them place job postings meeting all requirements, and legally represent them during the whole procedure.
